First vehicles built on tyres by CFD
The vehicle is steered by side wheels which are supported on the outer walls of the track.

The wheeled vehicles of the POMA 2000 transport system installed in Laon were delivered by CFD in 1988 and provide the link between the upper and lower town. They are driven by a cable which pulls the vehicle by means of a disengageable clamp following the same principle as gondolas.
