The Company took over the power train of the two-axle locotractors with a more powerful 500 horsepower engine and a 17 or 18-inch Borg-Warner hydraulic converter (two-axle locotractors use only a 17-inch converter).

The first 3-axle locotractors with powershift gearboxes were manufactured for the Cimenterie de l'Orientale (CIOR) in Morocco. The objective was to ensure the manoeuvring of heavy trains. For this purpose, the use of two 3-axle locotractors, which could be coupled together, was a technically simple solution.
