Twin locomotive equipped with two Asynchro gearboxes that drive the reversing axles through cardan shafts. Each reversing bridge drives the other axle of the bogie via connecting rods.
The twin-engine arrangement ensures that there is no traction break when changing gears that are not carried out simultaneously on both gearboxes. A CFD freewheel located at the gearbox output allows gear changes to be made while the locomotive is moving.
